Minimum Graduation Requirements

Six pre-university, grade 12 courses and the successful completion of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC) or requirements.

Community Service

All students must complete a total of 40 hours of
community involvement to be eligible for an Ontario
Secondary School Diploma.
The required number of hours is pro-rated based on when the student started his Ontario studies based on 10 hours per year. See full details.

Quebec Students

Is Grade 12 an alternative to CEGEP for Quebec Students?

Grade 12 pre-university programs offer a different pathway for Quebec students. Grade 12 students who are admitted into university will have an additional 30 credits to complete towards the undergraduate degree compared to a CEGEP student.
