Congratulations to Northern Pre-University Graduate Jéremy Jacques!

Jérémy Jacques of the Baie-Comeau’s Drakkars is the most recent Northern Pre-University graduate.

Jérémy completed his grade 12 pre-university studies last week to become NPU’s 2nd Quebec Major Junior Hockey league player to graduate his year.

Completing the program in just 18 months is an excellent accomplishment for an elite athlete who constantly has to deal with travel and training constraints. In addition, Jérémy was recently traded mid season from the Sherbrooke Phoenix. Nevertheless, he never missed a beat with NPU and was able to complete his pre-university studies despite dealing with a new team, a new city and new home.

I am sure that we will one day see the 6 foot 3 defensemen representing one of our Canadian universities on the ice.
