JAGA Prepares to Welcome Students

As the 2024-25 school year approaches, the Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA) is thrilled to open its doors once again, offering unparalleled golf training combined with world-class academics.

With campuses across Asia and North America, JAGA continues to expand its reach, providing student-athletes with opportunities to excel both on the course and in the classroom.

Our Campuses

  1. JAGA Thailand: Located at Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin, this flagship campus offers PGA-level coaching, daily access to a Championship Course, and a vibrant community.

  2. JAGA Vietnam: Situated at West Lakes, this campus provides a serene environment for focused training with top-tier facilities and expert instruction.

  3. JAGA India: Based at ZEN Golf and Classic Golf & Country Club, students split their time between two premier locations, benefiting from diverse training environments.

  4. JAGA UAE: Located at the Al-Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, this campus in the UAE offers state-of-the-art facilities and exposure to a global network, preparing students for top-level competition.

  5. JAGA Canada: Our new campus at Le Blainvillier Golf Club in Blainville offers North American students exceptional training in a picturesque setting.

Coaches Summit 2.0

From August 21-24, JAGA hosted its annual Coaches Summit, bringing together top coaches from most of our campuses to discuss innovative ways to enhance our coaching strategies and student-athlete management. The focus was on refining our approach to ensure our students are not only top golfers but also well-prepared for college life. Below are some of the key outcomes from the summit:

1. Mentor Program

A significant new initiative, our Mentor Program, will see students divided into smaller groups, each assigned a dedicated coach-mentor. This mentor will oversee all aspects of the student's development, ensuring holistic progress. While specialized coaches will focus on specific areas like swing, putting, short game, nutrition, and academics, the mentor will be the primary guide, making adjustments as needed.

2. Adapting the JAGA-Way

We are continuously evolving "The JAGA-Way," our unique coaching philosophy. With insights from the summit, we’ve enhanced our testing and coaching methods to provide even more personalized training based on individual test results. This ensures that each student receives tailored guidance that aligns with their growth and development.

3. Daily Schedules and Schedule Changes

This year, we are placing greater emphasis on aligning our students' schedules with their tournament and exam timelines. For example, students approaching tournament season may shift their focus from academics to intensive golf practice, with academic work rescheduled during quieter periods. This flexibility ensures they are optimally prepared for both their sporting and academic commitments.

4. JAGA Strike Force

We’re excited to introduce the JAGA Strike Force, an elite group for our top-performing students. Members will operate on a distinct schedule, participate in more international tournaments, and be held to the highest standards. Selection will be based on rigorous tests and tryouts, with details on team composition to follow.

Coaches Involved:

Shane Gillespie - JAGA International

Arjun Malik - JAGA India

Marc-Andre Menard - JAGA UAE

Adam Wills - JAGA Thailand

Christian Kjaebro - The JAGA-Way Product Manager

Billy Fyfe - The JAGA-Way Technical Development

DK Singh - Director of Strategy & Development

The JAGA Coaches Summit has set the stage for an exciting and innovative year ahead. With these new initiatives, we are confident that our student-athletes will continue to excel both on the course and in their academic pursuits. We look forward to implementing these strategies and watching our students thrive.

JAGA Canada Leads the Way as First Campus to Open for 2024-25 School Year

As we embark on a new academic year, JAGA Canada has the honor of being the first campus to open its doors for the 2024-25 school year. Located at the renowned Le Blainvillier Golf Club in Blainville, Quebec, our Canadian campus is poised to offer an exceptional experience for our student-athletes.

Le Blainvillier Golf Club is not just any course—it's the designated training center for Quebec Junior Golf, a testament to its world-class facilities. The club regularly hosts national tournaments, providing our students with the opportunity to train on a course that challenges some of the best junior golfers in the country.

At JAGA Canada, students will benefit from top-tier coaching, from Jean-Charles Cote Sauve and Martin Hebert, access to premier facilities, and the chance to compete in a high-performance environment.

We’re excited to see what our students will achieve this year as they train and learn in such a prestigious setting. With the combination of Le Blainvillier's world-class facilities and opportunities for students to visit our other campuses, the possibilities at JAGA Canada are endless.

Kartik Singh Selected for Junior President’s Cup

We are proud to announce that JAGA’s own Kartik Singh has been chosen to represent the International Team at the prestigious Junior President’s Cup! This is a significant achievement, showcasing Kartik’s dedication and skill in the sport.

The Junior President’s Cup, a lead-up to the President’s Cup featuring PGA Tour professionals, is one of the world’s most esteemed junior golf tournaments. This year’s event will take place at Laval-Sur-le-Lac in Laval, Canada, where Kartik will compete against top junior golfers from around the globe.

Kartik’s selection highlights his place among the elite in junior golf, and we are excited to see him represent both his team and JAGA on this international stage. As Kartik embarks on this incredible journey, we’re confident he will make us proud.
